community player network groups members forums what is dark relic? dark relic is a high fantasy mmorpg currently in its second year of development. abyomon is the first of five continents now in development. it takes place in the world of neithus, a world filled with strange new races and creatures that stem from our own ancient world lore from around the world. neithus is a sandpark world allowing you to progress in the world through quests or exploring the ward of your choice on your own. walk (themepark), run (sandbox) or both (sandpark). your path is up to you, not us. an ever expanding world neithus consists of five continents each ruled by a regent. each continent has its own political system, along with their own architectural styles based on the races of that land. humans first arrived. majice isle, a large volcanic island filled with rich resources, stands in the center of the world, where players battle other countries for their land and resources in the name of their regent. new and familiar races dark relic offers 9 unique races for players to select from to start with more in upcoming expansions. select from different racial types including humanoids, beasts, elves or empyreals. abyomon offers the djinnai (empyreal) and the morren (elven). nagamo offers the avallis-vir (elven) and namumi (beast). terrum offers the torren (humanoid) and kuoni (beast). you can personalize your character at the beginning with many options within that races customs. however, you can learn, earn or buy other styles to further customize your character. class guilds & professions entering the world you have the opportunity to try out the different classes before joining one of the four class guilds. upon advancement in that class, you will then select your profession. once you select your class profession, you have the option of what path you wish to take. each profession has a unique set of abilities and skills you can train in or learn out in the world. level your skills through use. dark relic is not just focused on player level, but also the level of your skills, which can give you a unique and customized control every time you play. adventuring that rewards dark relic is focused on the player, not a particular play style. there are avenues for all types of players, whether you are a solo player, a group player, a raider or a crafter. you can play how you enjoy playing, whether it is one of those or a combination of. each game ward (adventuring, crafting, civics) works well with each other and allows you to play how you want. each game ward compliments each other allowing all players, no matter their style, to advance in a productive but unique way. this allows you, no matter your play style, to interact with the world. crafting with a purpose crafting in dark relic offers you six standard crafting professions to select from: tailor, leathersmith, blacksmith, mineralogist, carpenter and apothecary. dark relic allows you to be a basic crafter, creating the items you may need along the way, or become a full time master crafter. advance not only in crafting levels, but in your skills and specialties. in neithus, interactive crafting offers you more than just grinding to make the next level. you will interact with the world and the other game wards. no longer will you just "click and ding" to progress. advance with civics civics, the 3rd game ward, is the political side of neithus. deals can be made or brokered, affecting yourself, your friends, your guild or even your alliance. engage in a battle with npc's for lower prices, better deals, lands or even products. broker deals that create or break alliances. or even commit espionage for personal gain. what you do through civics can affect the world and other players around you, and it can be a carrier ward for your character where you can reach new heights. guilds and alliances player guilds and player alliances are as important to us as they are to you. every player guild has the same chances at events, achievements and acknowledgement whether small or large. form your own player guild with friends, family and new recruits. forge player alliances with other guilds to help grow your network and fight side by side. in dark relic, player guilds and alliances have the ability to grow and earn rewards and achievements through several means: player loyalty, guild quests, guild achievements, and more. show your guild/alliance pride! personalized player housing we plan to introduce player housing in a unique way, allow you to build and stylize your house. with custom housing. players will have the opportunity to build and stylize their own house for more than just storage. in dark relic, your house is your home. show off your trophies, set up a shop to sell your wares or just hold social functions. personalized permissions allow you select who can enter your house, or even what interior doors they are allowed to open. you give permissions for strangers, friends or guild mates. player vs player the majice isles gives you the opportunity to experience small and large battles. defend your regents lands or wage war on
